1st Violinist - Mallory Grugin Mallory Grugin is Fourtissimo's first violinist. She not only excells on the
violin, she also is talented on the viola. Mallory went to All-State on the viola where she was 4 out of 16 violists. She now plays with the MSHS Symphony Orchestra. Mallory is industrious not only on the violin and viola, but as a student. She maintains a 4.0 GPA and was elected Sudent of the Week by her teachers. On top of all that, Mallory loves to sing, dance, act and play tennis. She was Alice in the January production of Alice in Wonderland. Mallory is a trustworthy person and a great friend. Her postive attidude makes being in this quartet wonderful. She will be in our quartet for many years to come. |
2nd Violinist - Megan Armstrong Megan Armstrong is the second violinsit for Fourtissimo Quartet. She is a phenomenal violinist but she also has interests in singing, acting, and piano playing. Megan has particpated in the many MACC shows including the Boathouse production of Orphan Train where she played Mary. Megan, on top of all her artistic talents, is also a straight "A" student (no suprise if you see her study!) She is such a good friend and everyone of us in Fourtissimo knows we could trust her with our lives. Megan is a bright and kind young lady who will continue playing in Fourtissimo for a long time!

Viola - Maitri White Maitri White is Fourtissimo's viola player. She has been playing viola for two years and plans on playing for a long time. She participated in NMU's Youthe Chamber Orchestra as one of the youngest players. Maitri also enjoys theater. She has been in many MACC shows including Cinderella and Willy Wonka Jr. Maitri is top-notch student who loves to hang out with her friends, listen to music and just have fun! All of Maitri's friends would agree that she is outgoing and has a colorful personality. Maitri is someone who we can trust and know that she will be playing with Fourtissimo for a long while.

Cello - Sophie Shahbazi Sophie Shahbazi is proud to be Fourtissimo's cellist. She is first chair in her school orchestra, and her kind and loving personality is what makes her that "true friend" that everyone should have. Dancing, singing, acting, and piano playing are only a few of her many talents. She also loves to play tennis and is AMAZING at making unique cupcakes(: Today she made red velvet with cream cheese frosting cup cakes, and they were the best ever! She recieves outstanding grades, and was awarded Student of the Month in 2011. Playing the Minstrel in the show "Once Apon a Mattress" is just one of her many big roles in MACC shows. She even participated in the NMU show, Peter Pan. Sophie will always be there for our quartet, and her wonderful cello playing will last forever.
